Question about Brother HL-2070N Laser Printer
About 1.5 months ago, our printer started printing with a faint vertical line. I made sure there was no dust buildup on the corona wire (the printer is at the front desk in a veterinary office - lots of dust and dog hair floating about). A day or 2 later, the "Drum" light came on. I ordered a refurbished drum from Office Depot and replaced the old drum. The same vertical line still appeared. I figured that the refurbished unit wasn't refurbished well, but we got so busy, I forgot about it. At the end of last week, I ordered a new drum unit from Office Depot, hoping that, because it's new, it should solve the problem. I replaced it this morning, and the same line is still showing. I thought for sure that replaceing it with a brand new drum would take care of the problem. What should I do??
since the faint lines are vertical, I think there is some thing distored the laser beam, try clean the lenses of the laser unit by clean soft cloth.
