Monitor gets no signal

yes. it is almost positively the video card.
you can get a PCI video card and install that in an open slot.
if you don't need to play games, you don't need a fancy one, just a basic card.

Samsung hdtv to compaq pc

There should be a setting within the comp. Is it connected to the comp monitor and the tv? Perhaps from the comp to the tv with the monitor from the comp as well? Well if so, you may need a certain setting within the comp. Check under (on xp) display properties, and then under the settings tab. Please rate!

Start up problem

Try to use another keayboard, if that dosent work, try to do a full >CMOS reset.
error 25 is a weird 1 as although it's supposed to relate to gfx it's also been seen to be apparently associated with faulty IDE cables/drives & even keyboards

Good luck to you
