Most likely this is caused from a pump leaking and then shorting out the control board. If you lean your machine back look under the right front corner and locate the pump. (will look like a black box with a fan attached.) You will most likely find white residue on the pump. if you do, that means the pump has leaked and blown the board. you can order the parts at www.fisherpaykelparts.com.

This is usually a sign the controller module has expired.

Ecosmart washer won't drain it filled with water, washed and nowwon't drain the water.

you need to vacume out all the water so you make it light, then dolly out the washer to some place you can drain it. now take off the front of the washer and locate your water pump, its attached to your drain line. take off drain line to water pump and see if anything is clogged in the pump. This is most likely what is wrong if it wont drain. hope this helps.

Fisher and Paykel EcoSmart GWL15 no power

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Check that the washer supply is OK using another item - a kettle for instance. If it's not check your breakers/fuses. Reset/replace if necessary and if the same thing happens ( or if there was nothing wrong with the breakers/fuses in the first place) sorry but with such a fault it is virtually impossible for anybody on this forum to remotely guess what could be wrong with your washer. It could be internal wiring/plugs sockets, control panel switches, control PCB.

I fear that your only real option is a service call as the engineer will have the right equipment to safely diagnose what is wrong.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

We washed a throw rug and it oversuds. Removed the rugs and suds. Now the washer won't rinse or spin.

Hi - Im unsure what would have caused this problem - try this though as I think the pump may actually be glogged.

Advance the machine to spin and see if the pump would operate? - if it doesn't the you need to sccoop the water out and clear out the pump..

I will come back to check if you have sorted this out a little later..

Fisher Paykel washing machine model # GWL15 drips

Hi Dale..
It sounds like you have a leaky inlet valve assembly. The part number is 421029P and is easy to replace. You can get one here:

No power washer will not work

Sounds like a control board failure, sparks are never a good thing. Better to get a serviceman look at it unless you are an electrician and can do an insulation test after working on it.
