Question about JBL EON 15-G2 Powered DJ Speaker With EQ Speaker

Bloon Fuses! The fuses in these speakers have blown and so have the replacements. Does anyone have or know where to find a schematic or wiring diagram, or if possible a Circuit Card Assembly diagram that shows the specific imputs and outputs of the amps and resistors.

You don't need schematics to replace the fuses.
Open the speaker unit by unscrewing the back. The fuses are located near the on/off switch assembly. Replace them and screw the the unit back together.
To avoid blown fuses, try lowering the volume.

Where is the fuse in a xr1220 mixer.

which fuse?? main fuse? output fuses?

if the main fuse has blown & the device simply won't power up, replacing it will merely result in another blown fuse - you need to take it to someone who can repair the units' power supply

output fuses blow when speaker wires are shorted, or speakers fail short - they're on the main circuit board, but seeing you're asking, i'd suggest you don't open the unit, but take it to someone who knows what they're doing

Hello........ looking for a schematic for Bose 501 series 3 speakers. I need to replace the fuse in line with the tweeters.... its blown & does not have a value on it (unmarked, quick blow, twin lead,...

Did you find a solution? Dunno if it's much help, but I just today picked up some 501s - Series I I think - ugly heavy brown material grilles - but with a manual! No fuses in these, but booklet recommends installing your own in-line fuse holders (!?). Specifies a BUSS AGC-3 fuse for amps under 50wpc; or a MDL-2 fuse for amps over 50 wpc. Can be placed is series with either or the two signal wires. Very strange.... Robin

It sounds like you've either cooked the output stage or blown a fuse or two. Some amps use relays to protect speakers whilst others use old fashioned fuses. Check the rear of the amp to see if there are fuse holders. If there are then unplug the unit and check each fuse. If they are marked as mains or power leave that alone it's for the 120volt input. the ones you want are usually marked left and right or just speaker. If the speaker fuses are cooked then make sure you use the same rating when replacing. Also check your speakers, they could be cooked too. Unlikely but possible. Some makers hide the fuses internally which can make things dangerous for anyone poking around. If in doubt leave it to a tech. If the fuses are blown replace them. check your speakers and plug in and swich on. If the fuses blow again go looking for a repair shop as you've possibly blown the output stage.

No sound out of left speaker

did the left channel work when u switched speakers, if so then the left speaker or wiring is a fault.if not then the output circuits on the amp are blown or the fuse is blown some amps have internal fuses in the output to protect the output transistors. unplug the power cord and take the cover off, look to see if u can find any fuses and check these for continuity u can hold these up to the light and u should see a fine filiment in one piece and not broken. these fuses sometimes blow just from age and use at high volume like a regular light bulb.If the fuse is blown replace with the same value else the output transistors will need to be replaced most likley along with the drivers.

No speaker sound with hk 3480.

your fuses are blown by possible crossing speaker wire - and + together. I did this and kept turning it on but I ended up frying the unit. Check your wires and make sure that they are seperated properly. If problem continues then unscrew the shell and replace 1 or all 3 fuses (depending on what was blown) with GMA 8 amp fuses. good luck.

JBL Eon 15 Blown Fuse

These fuses are most likely 3 Amp fuses. Please note that if the replacements blow as well, that there is a problem within the amp section that will require repair.
