You have to Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from Sandisk's website first. Then, disconnect the Sansa from the computer, press and hold in the REC button, and then reconnect the Sansa while holding the REC button.
What happens with my Sansa e270 (6 gb) is when i connect it to my PC the connections seems to be patchy and it will not download or delete songs, when i unconnect it, it is as if i have not done anything. I can only download songs at small increments, and many times the connection is not working. The wires seem to be fine, and the USB ports work, and the cable seems ok. This is very annoying. thanks for helping!
