I have a Pioneer model CT-F2121 want to connect it to my Radio amp. I has two ports at back of Radio which is marked "switched" and "Unswitched" Radio is a Sansui model 210SS multi receiver. I have tried...

The deck if in working condition can be plugged into any AC wall outlet or the two AC outlets on the receiver. This is only for power, The Line outs and line in also have to be plugged into the Tape in and record out on the receiver as well. If the CT-F2121 need repairs that is what needs to be done first. Probably a whole set of belts.

Radio wiring colours nissan nivara 2006

fastest and easiest way to do it would be to get used plugs from the junkyard and then get a wire harness for the radio to fit it, most auto parts stores carry the radio harness.

Can I connect my YP-U3 MP3 player to a car stereo? If so, what kind of connection lead will I need?

well it has a regular 3.5 mm jack. you can get a universal fm radio transmitter that plugs right into it, tune your radio, and listen in. I on the other hand, have a car with a tape deck, and just used the tape adapter from an old cd player i had, that plugged right into the headphone 3.5 mm output.

There are some small clips that need to be removed. So be careful with them.

Take a look at this picture.

CONNECTING TAPE RECORDER

I assume you want to record from a tape recorder/player. If not, leave a message, but it will be a similar cable and connection.

If your tape recorder has a headphone jack, you can connect it to your sound card with a special cable. The headphone connectors are sometimes different sizes. It could be either a 1/8 inch, 2.5 mm or 3.5 mm plug. Your local electronics supply store (Radio Shack?) should have the cable you need. (I'd take your tape recorder with you, if possible.)

Sirius question

Yes it should be very easy with use of the ear phone jack - depending on the model of course but generally all you need is an ac/dc power supply, the antenna connection, and for connection to receiver you can connect via FM or hard wire.
FM: as in your car pick an FM station frequency that is clear (no station on it) lets say 88.1 then set your home receiver on 88.1 and there you have it.
DIRECT: purchase a stereo 3.5mm headphone cable with two RCA male plugs at the other end. A faily common cable found in dollar stores or for five times the price at Walmart/Radio Shack etc.. Plug the 3.5mm plug into the 'headpone' jack of the satellite radio and the RCA plugs into the rear of your home receiver - usually a 'aux/line in plug" or "tape in" plug then turn the knob on the receiver to "aux or tape" selector. Bingo you should hear satellite radio all over the house....if the volume is UP! Take care Frank
