Where do i plug my skw200 in to my tx8522 reciver

The SKW200 has a 'line in' rca plug. Unfortunately the TX8522 receiver does not have a dedicated 'subwoofer' line out so you will be feeding all frequencies to the sub. (Not ideal, but usable.) Use one of the 'tape out' plugs on your receiver for a line level output. Use a RCA splitter to go from 2 male to 1 female RCA. (Radio Shack etc.) Connect to the sub with a male to male RCA audio cable. The sub does not have a crossover control, so it will try to reproduce all tones. Adjust the level control for your sound taste....

I have an old Denon stereo receiver DRA - 565 RD. Do you know how I can connect my iPhone to the receiver to play music from my iPhone?

You need a 3,5mm male stereo connector to RCA male jacks (see attached image). Plug the 3.5mm jack to your iPhone and the RCA jacks (red & white or red & black) to your Denon Receiver's CD in or Tape 1 or 2 PB (at the rear of the unit). Then select the input where you plugged the RCA to (front of receiver: CD / Tape-2 / Tape-1). Hope this will help. 25303676-z0ul41frrnrex4ege2epffps-1-0.jpg

Denon DP300F no audio output to harman kardon 158 reciever

A turntable can NOT be connected direct via a tape input on any amp. Magnetic Cartridges require a special socket often called a "phono" input. If your receiver doesn't have a dedicated socket, by the sound of it doesn't, then you need to get a magnetic cartridge pre-amp. The turntable will plug into this and that will plug into the tape input on your receiver.

How do i connect a truntable to this? There is no Phono input???

The answer is you don't... You need a phono preamp which you then can connect to the aux inputs such as the cassette tape inputs.

Normal phon cartridges do not put out sufficient levels to go directely into these inputs.

You can buy phono preamps, possibly even at Radio Shack or other home audio stores.

How to conect iPod to Bose Lifestyle 12 Series II System

I connected my iPod with the same Bose with a cable you can get from Radio Shack for under $10.00. Please forgive me for not knowing the technical terms but one end has the male red and white plugs (audio composite)while the other is a single malplug that goes into your iPod. Just pick an open spot to plug it into the back of the Bose (Tape, Aux, Video) adn you are on your way.

Found the link to the radio Shck site and the cables.

Hope This Helps.

Equalizer connections

Usually you hook your equalizer between the pre out and main in RCA jacks and then open the connection between the pre and main with a switch. If your unit doesn't have pre out/ main in jacks then I have seen it done by putting your equalizer between the tape in and tape out jacks and then select that tape function on your front panel. The tape out goes to eq. in and the eq. out goes to tape in. Good luck.

Long wave car radio reception becomes unlistenable when engine running

Hi oldquincpie

If it is a problem that has just started, it is probably a bad earth on your antenna. If it is fender mounted, it may have dirt and rust under its base. Try loosening it off and cleaning under it with some emery tape. put it back together and try it. If you still have no luck, it may be that the antenna has a faulty internal connection. replacement may be necessary.
If the problem has always been there(since radio installed), you may need to do some radio interference suppression efforts to the car. Check the aerial first and see how you go. In the workshop, we have a spare aerial to plug into the back of the radio and temporarily earth it to the chassis somehow to check for an antenna fault.

I have aTechnics SA DX940 Receiver I want to connect everything to run thru my Equalizer I need the wiring pictorial for plug jacks between the components I Have A DVD Player,CD player, and VCR ...

The only way to utilize an EQ with this receiver is to connect the EQ as if it were a tape. Use the tape-in/tape-out connections and set the reveiver in tape monitor mode.
