Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

I have had this problem once before. Disconnect your battery from the car for about 5mins and then reconnect your battery. That should fix the problem.

When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Ford service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

My receiver turns on but no sound comes out. I know for a fact nothing is wrong with any other component.

Hi there,

Check the audio connection from unit to the system speaker, try to disconnect and reconnect it again, make sure that you remember all the connections before disconnecting it. Try also to use other audio wire available.

Let me know and advised me here again for any development.

Sound problem

Start by getting a program called SIW from Gabriel Topala's website. Once you install this, under hardware and audio or sound devices, you find all brand and part specific info to give further information.

Also try under audio devices in control panel, check which device is set to default, and tinker with it, if you change it to a new option and you hear a "BING" you have fixed it. NOTE: Write down the original setting so you can put it back if you dont fix it.

If you need further help let me know, I CAN solve this problem.

I am changing my head unit and i dont know what color wires go to what on the stock one

The auto and radio Dons have blessed us with a universal color code for all vehicles-that I've noted in all the systems that I've changed. If you're swapping out the stock Chrysler system you'll need to go to Walmart-or a store that sells audio equipment-to buy the Dodge/chrysler/jeep adapter. You connect it to the factory connect and splice the same colors to the radio. Most times the wire have the speaker it goes to written on it. If you have already cut the connector off and can't reconnect the wires, just match up the wires with the matching colors. Hope this helps.

Amp on but no sound from subs

Make sure that you have a good set of RCA cables. Then make sure that you have 14 gauge speaker wire. As for amp make sure that you use 8 or 10 gauge wire. Make sure you have a good GROUND.
