Im not too familiar with these devices but usually with other Bluetooth products in order for the mobile device to detect anything the device you wish to connect to needs to be put into pairing mode ? is this available within the software it was bundled with ?

it could be known as pairing or discover mode

Thanks

I want to istall a bluetooth to my pc but i dont know how to install it

Purchase an USB blue adapter from amazon or newegg.com
Depending on the version of windows, you might not have to install anything when you plug it in. Vista and 7 shouldn't have any issues installing it. If windows xp or failure to load on vista/7 you'll need to load the drivers from the CD that comes with the USB device.

How do you install wireless usb adaptor

A wireless USB adapter is a simple device that connects to an open USB port on your computer or laptop, allowing you to connect wirelessly to a network that is within range. They come with different connection speeds, ranges and security protection allowing you to connect to the Internet and use email servers, without complicated setups. Installing USB adapters to a computer is a simple task that anyone can perform. With just a few steps, you can access wireless networkmag-glass_10x10.gif where there is one.
jQuery('.intro .thumbnail').each(function(i,e){ jQuery(e).find('img').one('error',function(){ jQuery(e).remove(); }); }); Difficulty: Moderately Easy Instructions
  1. Step 1 Research around before purchasing a wireless USB adapter. There are many different networking companies such as Belkin, Netgear and Linksys (see links in Resources). Compare prices and features such as speed in megabytes per second (mbps). Look for wireless USB adapters with a compliance of IEEE 802.11b or IEEE 802.11g. These options give you increased security on your network.
  2. Step 2 Plug your purchased USB into a USB port on your computer. Depending on the chosen model, you may have an installation CD. Place your installation CD into the CD-ROM on your computer, and follow the setup instructions to install the wireless USB drivers. Some adapters will install automatically.
  3. Step 3 Locate the wireless icon on the lower right of your computer screen. If there is an "X" marked on it, use the manual that comes with your purchased wireless USB adapter to configure it properly. The wireless icon usually lights up when a wireless connection point is detected.

The cd is either warped, dirty or scratched. Try it on another computer to verify if you don't see any obvious visual defects.

Wirless router will not connect with Belkin usb adaptor

There are many possibilities - we'd need many more details.

What operating system (XP, Vista, Mac, Linux)? Can you find the router with the computer? Can you connect to the router at its address (usually 192.168.<something>)? Make and model of the router? Any error messages?

It is possible that the adaptor is not compatible with your version of windows vista, despite what the system requirements for the device say.

Below is a link where you can download the latest driver for your bluetooth adaptor. Support XP sp1, sp2, and vista. Try this driver

Dead equipment

Belkin USB wireless N adaptor, I would try to update the driver (did you change anything like system restore, or upgrade to vista?) - also check it on another computer to make sure it is the adaptor and not something else going on. Died is a vague term. You can get the manual and the updated drivers at:
