Question about SanDisk Sansa m230 MP3 Player

Sandisk 240 My sandisk is frozen to the sreen (sansa) , my computer don't recognize them .I have change the battery, do you have a solution. Thanks my computer recognises it as MTP player but I cannot load songs in it

Hold down the Power/Resetbutton for about 15 seconds to perform a normal reset.

Otherwise, drain the battery completely by forcing it on until the rechargeable battery is completely drained: this will reset the unit completely.

Disconnect the player, press and hold the power button till the player resets. Change the USB mode to MTP, then turn the player off and reconnect to computer. The computer should now recognize the player.

Press and hold the power button till the player resets. Then update the fimware to the latest version.

Nothing except for "sansa" on the sreen.


there is some problem in sansa's firmware so load firmware from the CD which provided with sansa m240 it will work ...

My sansa did the same thing. I registered it on sandisk.com and they are sending me and new one, so I suggest you do the same.
