Question about Printers & Copiers

I have connected my printer to my Macbook, and it is reading it, yet when i try to print anything, it is just spitting out blank pages. There is a help section on the toolbar, but it says no help is available for the DX6000. Any suggestions what I could try?

If the printer does not have an updated driver for Mac on your printer (from the manuf site) what you can do is connect the printer to a PC, install the help tool for the printer, then initiate the nozzle cleaning tool, it is a common feature on most inkjet printers.

My HP Photosmart printer was printing just fine until I had to change ink cartridges. Now it won't print anything, it just spits out a blank page.


Sometimes your printer print blanks pages, if your printer is out of ink. You can check the quantity of ink in the status of the printer. i had the same problem. but the soultion i tried didnt work. so if this works tell me how it did: press the power button the the x button on your printer, WHILE PRESSING THE POWER BUTTON, the release the x button.

Go to START, Printer & Faxes, right click your printer and select properties. Under the advanced tab, click seperator page, delete whatever is in the box and click OK. This should stop the blank pages from printing.

I get blank pages when printing. Sometimes all pages are blank, sometimes first and last page print, with blank middle pages.


hi,check your printing setting and then print.
or....
uninstall the printer then install the printer again then printer has default setting and print the paper.
sometimes printer current pages print wich is selected by setting.you must select all the pages.
to change the setting,,,
1-open control panel then open printers and faxes then check seeting.

Printer spits out blank page before printing


Hi,
Check Your Ink Catridge. If the Catridge ink is full then try the following Steps.
  • Unplug the printer cable from the computer.
  • Unistall the printer drivers from Device manager and also unistall the all the printer appications
  • restart the computer
  • try to download drivers from the website
  • after installing the cannon drivers and software it will ask you to connect the printer. 
  • then you can connect the printer and print a test page.

hi,

try this

> unplug the usb cable from the computer
> click on "start--> control panel--> printers and faxes"
> select the printer icon associated with your printer and delete it.
> now plug the usb cable to the printer
> wait for few minutes while all the drivers are installed.

thats it... now try to print... it should be resolved

If the printer works ok on another PC, it seems quite clear that the problem is definately software (Driver) related. If you haven't done so already, I recommend adding the printer through the Printer\Faxes Add Printer Wizard and pointing it to take the drivers off the install CD (if you have one) rather than installing the printer from the CD Autorun. Just make sure that you've deleted the printer completely from Printers\Faxes and rebooted before each install attempt.

HP LaserJet 3550 spits out blank paper when job sent from computer but prints fine when printing directly from printer


Try connecting the printer via the USB port on either one of the computers. Then test if the machine prints fine then likely possibility is that the Network interface card is faulty remove the network card and install in a different slot and test. If the same thing happens then reinstall the drivers and test.
