Our 42 inch Viore is almost 2 years old, and it suddenly stopped producing a picture. You cannot even see the volume bar. It has perfect sound, but absolutely no picture. Any ideas of how to fix it or how much it will cost. It is a plasma tv.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

In order to ensure, it is not caused by the input device, connect a DVD player and see. Also look for any loose contacts in power outlet, RC jack, cable and socket. Switch off TV, switch off power, remove plug and wait for 48 hours and retry.
If problem persists, I suggest it is better to refer it to a qualified service technician, since the back cover has to be opened for investigation/rectification.
It sounds that, the memory IC to your TV has damaged. This IC can be located very near to main system control IC. A very small one, with 8 solder terminals. Even though it is very small, function of it while the TV works is great. The work is a semi-skilled one, and you must have some knowledge in electronics to proceed.
Hi, my name is Cheri Torres and I am with DISH Network customer service. I came across your post and wanted to see if I could help. DISHNetwork remotes have a few different codes for each of our different models of remotes. You should be able to find your remote model number on the back at the top ofyour remote it's usually a two to three digit number with a decimal point. Iwill list here for you the best codes for the most common DISH remotes and alsothe instructions for addressing your remote to your TV. The only codes that I was able to find for the Viore TV were for the 5.3 IR remote and the codes are 563 and 500. If these codes do not work you can also try running a channel scan to find your particular code. I will also list here for you the instructions for running a power scan. I hope you find these codes and instructions useful and if you have any further questions or concerns feel free to post back here or email me at Cheri.Torres@Dishnetwork.com. :)
Instructions for addressing remote to TV,
Turn the Television On
Press and Hold the TV mode button down until all the mode buttons (i.e AUX, SAT, TV etc.) light up.
Enter the three-digit code using the buttons on the number pad.
Press the pound(#) button once. Note: The LED will flash three times.
Test functionality with the TV
Return to Step 2 if the remote is not able to turn the TV On/Off, change the volume and mute the television.
Instructions for running a power scan
With the desired equipment on, press and hold the TV button down until all the mode lights light up.
Press 500 using the number key pad.
Press the pound(#) button once.
The TV button will blink red three times.
Then again press and hold down the TV button down until all the mode lights light up.
Press and release the big red Power button once.
Press the Up button once every second while pointing the remote at the desired equipment. Keep pressing the up button until the TV turns off until.
AS SOON AS THE TV TURNS OFF Press the POUND (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.
Try the functionality of the TV to see if the power scan worked.
You can power scan for the code.
Turn ON the electronic device you want to program the remote to control.
Press the Mode button( sat,tv,dvd, aux) on the remote until the appropriate mode light is flashing.
Press the Power button. The mode light will stop flashing and stay lit.
Press the Up or Down arrow button to set the remote to the next code. The Down arrow button scans backward and the Up arrow button scans forward.
When the correct code is reached, the device (whether a TV, VCR, or other) will turn off.
Press the pound key button to store the code in the remote control memory. If the code is valid for your remote, the mode light will blink 3 times.
Turn the device back ON by pressing the Power button.
Press sat mode key once you power back on the tv to be able to operate the receiver box.
Try some other functions to make sure you have the correct code. Occasionally the Power button may work when others do not.
If the other buttons work you are finished.
If the other buttons do not work, repeat the previous steps. The scan will resume from the last code stored.
The mode light will flash rapidly when the scan has returned to the starting point and all codes have been tested for that mode. The remote control may not control some device models.
If the red light flashes at plug in you likely have a main board that is bad. If you have to press the power button before the red light flashes you likely have a bad bad supply board. This will need to be diagnosed by a technician to be sure of the problem.
