1) Try setting all your camera setting to auto, and take a photo. This should eliminate any pre-set photo types you may have unwittingly switched to.
If that doesn't resolve the issue I'd suggest you go to the sony website follow links for support and/or downloads, see if there's a firmware upgrade for you camera.
Should that also fail, check the website for a forum there may be someone who's had the same problem and resolved it and finally:-

Hi, Your camera must be experiencing these symptoms due to a faulty CCD, and not due to other problems. If the problem is due to your dropping the camera, you might be out of luck. If you have not dropped your camera and still facing this problem, then contact service people to replace the CCD imager in your camera .
Yes it is. If you contact the Authorized Sony Service you can claim for free service. Please claim for Sony recall on CCD-s. Google Sony recall please.
