I was reading the manual and it said that i wont need to pair my connection with my fone after ive done it the first time...i always leave my bluetooth connection on my fone on, but i have to disconnect my fone and reconnect the bluetooth for it to properly connect to my fone. meaning the music doesnt play directly to my head set when i turn the head set on. i have a black berry curve, does anyone have this same problem?
your headset/handsfree profile will only play single channel (mono) stuff... i upgraded from an H700 to a Jabra BT8040 which will play my media... you can also try the Moto S9, people have seemed to like that one too...

Turn the bluetooth radio off on your old phone. Turn on the hbs700. Your earpiece should automatically go into pairing mode when it does not detect your old phone. Turn on the bluetooth radio on your new phone and search for your hbs700. Connect to and you're done.
Hello John, You can download an application for your phone like Bluetooth Auto Connect from Google Play Store and it will auto connect your mobile to your car for you! Also you can set a number of rules and priority for multiple bluetooth devices! After you have download the application, connect and pair with your Bluetooth device manually (this is a requirement) and then just turn off and on Bluetooth (or leave Bluetooth on and turn the screen on) and it will auto connect.
Hi, Read the owners manual for your bluetooth device. You will need to find the code to pair your headset to your phone. This code is usually 0000 (those are zeroes) but verify before you proceed.
Enter your bluetooth option on your cell phone. These can be found in your menu under "bluetooth," "connections," "settings," or something similar.
Turn on your bluetooth headset and put it in pairing mode. Pairing mode means the bluetooth is ready to be found by your cell phone. To pair your headset, follow the owners manual for your specific bluetooth model.
Select "add device" or "search for new device" from your cell phone. Your cell phone will then search for your bluetooth. Once it is found, or discovered, you will need to enter the pairing code (most likely 0000, check your manual to verify).
Select "connect" to finalize the connection if the bluetooth headset didn't connect automatically after the pairing code was entered. Make a test call with your bluetooth in your ear to ensure it is connected properly.
By pairing your KU990 and another device, you can set up a passcode protected connection. This means your pairing is more secure. 1 Check your Bluetooth is On and Visible. You can change your visibility in the Settings menu. 2 Touch Paired Devices then New. 3 Your KU990 will search for devices. When the search is completed Refresh and Add will appear on screen. 4 Choose the device you want to pair with and enter the passcode then touch OK. 5 Your phone will then connect to the other device, on which you should enter the same passcode. 6 You passcode protected Bluetooth connection is now ready.
Using a Bluetooth headset 1 Check your Bluetooth is On and Visible. 2 Follow the instructions that came with your headset to place your headset in pairing mode and pair your devices. 3 Touch Yes to Connect now. Your KU990 will automatically switch to Headset profile.

I GOT THE ANSWER FROM ANOTHER Z9 ISSUE RAISED BY SOMEONE. HOLD THE RED BUTTON FOR A WHILE WHILE KEEPING THE NEW DEVICE IN BLUE TOOTH SEARCH MODE. THE BLUE LIGHT IN BA STAYS STEADY AND TELEPHONE DEVICE PICKED UP THE SIGNAL . PAIRING WAS DONE AS DIRECTED BY PHONE DEVICE.
1.Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a boom headset while the headset is closed. The light will glow blue.2.Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1. 3.On the cell phone, press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device 4.Select HS820 once a connection is detected. 5.The passkey "0000" is now entered to confirm the connection has been made. 6.The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".
Tips: 1.Provided you set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone will automatically re-connect to the headset. 2.To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select that. Scroll to Power and chose Change. Scroll to On and press Select. The screen should now read "Changed: Power On". 3.Test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset and the phone should be connected automatically and will now display "Bluetooth Connected".
please give good rating if the solution works. Thanks for using FixYa.
