Check for spark and fuel. When you turn the key on you should hear the fuel pump in the tank for a few seconds till the pressure builds up. When you crank the engine there should be spark at the plugs.

Battery is new, engine won't turn over.

The voltmeter should only go as high as 14-15 volts when the engine is running. I would check for a poor connection between the battery and starter.

1997 mazda 626 won't start.

Are the plugs wet with fuel?
Check for spark. No spark? it may be the ignition module.

Plugs dry and spark present? No fuel?Spray a little starting fluid and see if it will run on that.
Then check pump fuses and for fuel pump noise.

Went did errands yesterday, came home parked car in garge, and this morning it wont start, battery is fine, raido and windows work, there is no extra lights coming on, whats going on?

The battery has two components that it must have in order to operate the vehicle. Amperage and Voltage. The Radio, Lights, Windows and most everything else operates on the Voltage the battery supplies. The Starter however requires Amperage in order to turn the motor over. It is possible to have all the volts in the world and not have enough Amperage to start the vehicle. To verify, jump the vehicle using another running vehicle. If your vehicle starts the battery has a dead cell and needs replaced, if it doesn't then you will need to look at the starter as being the problem. Both can be tested for free at Auto Zone if you remove them and take them out. This assumes you have already checked all the fuses and your alarm system is not malfunctioning. If that is the original battery that came with the vehicle it is at the end of it's life span and due for replacement. Typically Ford uses 36 Month batteries in it's new vehicles.

Engine won't turn over

Sometimes the connection on the battery is good enough to run small things like that but not put off the power to start an engine. You either need a new battery, check to see if it has corrosion on the terminals or check to see if a terminal is loose. That might not be it.. but it will defintely eliminate somethings.
