YAY! i found the solution to this - it fixed my SAME PROBLEM right away!
and for FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
there was a LOT of fluff in there, and now my battery is charging, my lap is not on fire and i am one happy camper.

There is a button on the battery itself next to 5 LEDs. That is your test button. (mainly lets you know how much of a charge is left).
BTW, if this is an older battery (3 Years or more) it may need replacing due to a safety issue.
