Try to power up with power cord only and see if it works. If no lights turn on than your motherboard is dead. If it turns on and nothing happens make sure there is memory installed(RAM). If it turns on and you see windows screen than it shuts off than your operating system needs to be installed again. Also, you can try booting in safe mode by hitting f8 when you initially start your computer and see if it stays on and if it does you have a virus most likely. Good luck.

Hi, this sounds like malware. When powering on the Acer, keep pressing the F8 Key. You will see an option to choose "Last know good configuration.
If that doesn't work then do the same but You will see an option to choose Safe mode with networking.
This option should allow the Acer to boot up. From there the icons will look very large but you can download malware bytes free. Scan for malware and hopefully it should remove any viruses causing your issue.
Once scan is complete, delete all malware or move to quarantine. Restart the Acer and it should go in normally. Once your in its best to run a virus scan using your anti virus software to clean any further viruses
Looks like an issue with either display or system is overheating. Please try the below steps.
1. Shut down the computer 2. Keep on tapping F8 key as us press the Power button to turn on the computer. 3. Choose safe mode using the arrow keys on the keyboard and hit Enter Key 4. Stay on the safe mode to see if the screen is going blank, if not 5. A system restore should help to fix the issue. Let me know!

Does it sound like it's starting up at all? Is the problem that only the screen turns blank? You might have just disabled the standard output. Try pressing Fn (bottom left on the keyboard) and the F5 on the top a few times to see if the screen toggles back on.
You might also try to run it without the battery, and on the battery only in case it's a faulty battery or power supply that causes the problem.
If not, it sounds lsike a serious problem, so if there is any chance of the waranty still being valid I'd call acer support asap.
