Question about Audio & Video Receivers

The footswitch for bugera 6262 valve amp seems to have a logic problem. The clean channel leaves 'lead and reverb' leds lit on footswitch, pressing 'lead' lights the crunch channel on the amp... and reverb button selects 'lead channel' on both amp and footswitch led. very confusing

Hi ! Check and make shure that the cord conections between the pc board on the backplate of the amp to the logic board are firmly pushed in there slots.
Good luck , Stefan from Sweden

Wot are the send, return, post out socket for on a prosound 4100 amp

These are all related to using external effects processors, like if you wanted to use a separate reverb unit.
"Send" is the output that gives the un-processed signal to the external device, and "return" receives the signal from the external device.
"Post Out" is an output from the amp that occurs AFTER the send/return jacks on the bus, i.e., if you are using an external reverb unit, the "Post Out" signal will include the reverb fx. If you have a "Pre Out" jack, it's signal will NOT include the reverb fx.

I got this old Reverb Amp from cleaning out a house for a real estate agent. I was wondering its worth & how to go about getting it to someone who would like to have it. Thank You Its a Pioneer SR-202...

It's an old 'spring-type' reverb.

I have one from the mid-70's, long unused. Digital reverb is more predictable and not susceptible to rom vibrations or jarring. There are those who would still want one.

You might put it out on eBay. They don't get much for them.

This auction expires in 2 days. The bidding is $20.50 right now. You might watch it to see what the unit eventually goes for.

I have a lexicon mpx100 dual channel processor and a spirit powered mixer. could you tell me how to connect it to the mixer and does it need a stereo footswitch regards lawrence

Footswitch is just an option for activating MPX. There are a couple ways to connect, but easiest is to run cables from AUX outputs to MPX then return cables from MPX to 2 open channels, using them to apply effects.

Yamaha RX-V757 No Left Channel Output - Video Sources Only

First - make sure it is not a defective cable by reversing the leads/colors on the inputs if problem then goes to the right channel then you know it is a bad cable/RCA, etc., connector. I would try that first.

Thanks,

(Maybe) Seems like a problem with the reverb.Try opening it up (while un-plugged.) and try cleaning it out and checking there isn't any loose conections.

Marshall valvestate 40 guitar combo, clean channel works fine, dirty channel has no o/p have changed valve ecc83, channel indicator led comes on and valve lights up but still no o/p. Can you help...

Hi Andy

The problem you face is most probably the same that stops most all valve state amps from working. They suffer terribly from fry/cracked solder joints. You will have to remove the main circuit board from the chassis, and resolder any suspect joints you can see, particularly about the rear loop in out jacks, control pots on the front panel, and power supply. There is a large power resistor and zener diode that cause problems in this model from memory. The valve never fails in these amps. Due to the lower supply voltages they are run at, they are not under alot of pressure, and as such give good reliable service. Go over the amp for dry joints first, and see how you get on. I have repaired so many of these with that problem.

Peavey pv 2000 power amp has ddt led lit on one channel continuously

the ddt circuit on this amp is goofy, they use a 4060 opamp with the inputs at -14 to -15V, the spec range is only +/-12V. So it is possible for it to nuisance trip. There is a button on the back to disable the ddt, try that. I've alos had luck replaceing the 4060 with an LM358 whose input spec is not violated in this application

Hi, I have a numark dxm01 mixer, when i raise the volume on one of the channels there is a noise that resembles radio interference. I've tried cleaning the leads and altering the volume on the amp but it...

There is an internal break in a ground connection and that channel is acting like an antenna. This should be a relatively easy thing to find. Bring it to a service shop. It should not require parts.
