Is this a by-pass code over your own code. Lost my keys, took it to locksmith. They manage to get it open . Other than key missing I guess box is all right but don't trust myself. I haven't used it for a long time and I'd have to reprogram it. Batteries are dead . So if I reprogram it if successful it should work but if I forget my code all I do is use 159 , listen to the beeps which should be my combination I can still open it. Question how do you know when beeps have counted one number is there a pause you can seperated fron no 2, 3 , 4 .. If so I might be able to reuse it. Looked at other but smaller inside. This one has double shelf...handy

Change code number to a new number on safe e.d.safe s25ebf

To open an electronic safe the first time, press the following numbers/letters on the
electronic keypad -159B. (These numbers are preset. You should change the code as soon
as possible after opening the safe to insure proper security). After you have entered the
factory set code, you will need to turn the knob on the faceplate to open the door. You will
have 5 seconds to turn the knob before the locking mechanism is reactivated.
ENTERING YOUR SECURITY CODE
To enter your own security code you will need to follow the steps listed below:
1. After opening the electronic safe (with the pre -set factory code of 159B) locate the
small red button on the inside of the door near the hinge.
2. Press the red button and then release it, you will hear a beep.
DO NOT SHUT THE DOOR UNTIL YOU HAVE CONFIRMED THAT YOUR NEW
SECURITY CODE HAS BEEN ENTERED CORRECTLY.
3. With the door open, enter your own personal security code, which can be 3- 8 digits
long, and confirm your new code by pressing the letter "B" on the electronic touch pad.
Before you close the door, try the new security code to make sure the lock release the
knob so you can turn it and retract the live action locking bolts.

MY PROBLEM FORGET MY PASSWORD ELECTRONIC DIGTAL SAFE , I NEED HOW TO OPEN MY SAFE SMALL ELECTRONC DIGTAL

If you have forgotten the combination and do not have a bypass key, then you only have one more option: You have to enter the safe destructively. There is no other realistic method, if it was merely a case of asking on the internet how to easily get into it then it wouldn't by any definition of the word be a safe.

There are a lot of battery-operated models similar to yours, and in every case the process is similar in that you either drill out the bypass key lock barrel or use a grinding disc to cut open the top or rear of the safe. Do not try to go through the front.

You could alternatively call out a locksmith, but the bypass keyway is non-standard and usually designed to resist lock-picking tools, so locksmiths will also just cut their way into the safe and charge you more than if you did it yourself. Even if a locksmith could open the unit without destroying it, the additional investment of labour would not be cost-effective.

Fortunately, your safe is really just a strongbox and is relatively cheap to replace. If it was a proper safe then it would be far more difficult and expensive to get into and would cost a lot more to replace.

I need to change the code on the safe and I no longer have a manual for my LS405 Sandelford Electronic Safe. It has a number N15115 on the front of the safe I cannot remember how to do this

This may work:

1. With the safe open press the red button on the hinge near the back of the door.
2. Release the red button 2 beeps will sound, followed by illumination of the yellow light.
3. Enter the predetermined 3 to 8 digit code.
4. Confirm the code by pressing the letter B.
If the code or confirmation is not complete in 15 seconds begin again at step one.

NB. Make sure the batteries are fresh.

Thought I knew the 4 number combination, now locked inside. I do have the key. However, safe not opening. What is the exact procudure for combo?

Without wishing to state the obvious, I feel that I must do so. A safe is called a safe for a very good reason. If it was easy to get inside without the correct key or combination then by definition it would be unsafe.

If you have lost the combination and the key doesn't work then you can either try every combination until you get lucky or you must consider calling out a locksmith who will usually open the safe destructively (often by drilling out the lock) or even by using an angle grinder on the hinges.

I purchased a new Sentry Safe, Model CSW 4747 yesterday. When I unboxed the safe, the safe was open, the lock handle was down, cyclinders were a little pertruding, and the lock cyclinder was popped out. ...

(1) sounds like the interior lock activation screw is still installed. it's the long screw on the inside of the door with the yellow tag; (2) when entering the code, make sure the key is turned to the right; (3) after entering the code, make sure you next press the program button. enter the code wrong three times and it locks up for two minutes.
