Transfer pics from phone to computer

I bought a cable to transfer pics from phone to computer but it requires software in order to work. Can I download this software from somewhere online? I have a new phone and don't want to loose the stuff from my old phone. Thanks.

Sorry I was so vague. I have a verizon Motorola Razr phone and bought a cable with a USB connection on one end and a phone connection on the other. Problem is that the computer doesn't recognize the hardware and I don't know how to go about downloading any software.

connect your USB cable to the computer then your phone icon will appear in my computer..(it will look like flash drive).... open it >mobile >pictures >copy them and past them in your hard disk .

when you connect your phone with computer it might tell you to install your hardware drive, give it sometime and do the next , next if your you are using XP it will configure your phone automatically!

if you dont have the drive or software then go to Motorola official website and download the software for free. it will make thing lot more easier,

and plz rate me. if you still face problem i'll give you more detail.

On the phone select extras>connection>usb. Select memory card. The phone will appear like a usb memory stick on the computer.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

How do I download a LG-UX310 cell phone picture to a computer using the USB cable which I bought? I already installed the driver software which was provided.

I couldn't get it done with the USB cable. I spoke to LG, and US Cellular, and they had no ideas. This is what I finally did that works, and it does them all at once, instead of sending them one at a time to your online album/email. Get a bluetooth dongle (Ebay for a couple of bucks). Plug it in (It will automatically load drivers). Download "BFT" (Bluetooth File Transfer), which is free. They just ask for donations if you like it. Connect the phone via bluetooth to the pc. It took me all of three minutes to transfer all photos and audios from three different phones to the computer. It's really simple to do, once you find the right software. If you have any problems, let me know. (dbennett0723@aol.com)

I had the wrong card in (8MB) so all my pics & video are saved internally and I want to transfer to the 4MB card I just bought.

The best thing to do is getting a data cable, and installing the phone software on a computer. Then you connect the phone to PC and transfer the data on phone memory onto the card.

Using the phone to do the job with copy and paste on the single files will also work, but it will take ages.

Note: if you connect phone to computer without installing software first , you will access only Memory card (as external storage), and not Phone Memory.

How do I download the pictures from LG Shine to my desktop?

Now that you have the cable, download a program called bitpim from bitpim.org
Make sure you have the drivers downloaded before connecting your phone.

I need help transferring my pictures from my Motorola V3 phone to my PC and i have a USB cable but no software, my computer isnt recognizing the phone please help me get these pictures

as far as i know motorola v3 usb is a plug and play. no need to have a software just to browse your device. try to plug it on windows xp. make sure that other usb device is pluging aside from your phone. if not then the problem isnt on your phone, its on your computer. if the usb device on your computer is the problem, then try to download a usb 2.0 driver for your pc and it should be done.

Transferring saved video/pics from phone to phone memory card

Using a proprietary data cable, download to your PC, then upload to your phone.

If you have a compatible data card reader on your PC:
1. download directly from your data card onto your PC hard drive, 2. insert your new data card,
3. goto my computer and then drag and drop the files you want into your new data card.

I have a motorola razr vi Dolce & Gabbana and cannot access the internet or upload pictures to my computer. I have AT&T and a multimedia plan but can't even use it because the phone was never set...

There is a generic "PIM" software (Personal Information Manager) software called BITPIM that is available. You will need a data cable and the proper drivers for your operating system in order to connect to your PC. Once you have this, you should be able to connect and transfer information between your PC and your phone without incurring any data charges.
