Dishwasher f1 problem

My dishwasher drawers are in an f1 fault mode. The lights keep flashing and the machines keep beeping. When I attempt to turn them off, they just start up again with the same pattern. The top drawer loaded (although not overloaded) and the bottom is empty. please help!

Both drawers are in an F1 error code and just keep beeping and flashing - The only way to stop this is to unplug it. Unplugging it has cleared the problem in the past, but this time is not clearing the error. I took everything apart in the tub thinking that something was keeping the gears from working - all was okay. Not sure what is going on!

I have the same problem with the F1 (flood) light being on.

When the machine was on it would trip the plug.

I took the entire machine apart and found the computer sensor is burned up. Looks like it had gotten wet.

    I must replace it.

I have the technician coming to my home on March 6th.

I have the same problem. Apparently the F1 means the flooding switch has been activated. There is however no flooding anywhere. How do I reset the switch?

F1 error on Fisher and Paykel Dish Drawer

Sorry did not see your problem report earlier. If you have checked the sensor under the bottom drawer and it is dry, then F1 is caused by top drawer power filter fault. This means the bottom drawer controller is giving the F1 error but the top drawer controller has no power. Can you confirm this.

Dishwasher keeps flashing F1

F1 on your dishwasher is the fault code for leaking inside the machine. the water has caused the flood switch to activate. have you put any detergent rather than your normal dishwasher detergent into the machine? if you have, the water probably leaked out of your overflow, if not, then you have a leak on the top drawer or bottom drawer. the easiest way to check is to leave the machine off for a couple of days until it drys then turn on the bottom drawer to go thru a cycle.if the F1 comes up again then the problem is on your bottom drawer. if F1 does not come up then try the top drawer. please reply if you require further help.

F1 in F&P 2 drawer dishwasher

You will need to be a bit more specific when you say "no flood".

Are you having this F1 fault in one or both drawers?

What did the engineer do when he was there last time?

Does the F1 code flash with beeps?

What happens when you turn the mains power off and on after a short delay?

Please provide the actual model number of your fisher and paykel 2 drawer dishwasher.

Hi Both drawers show error F1 flashing beeping with rinse light on and both pumps run after power is applied to machine

F1 error indicates flood switch in base has activated, meaning machine has leaked. This causes machine to drain continously, and can only be stopped by switching off power. Not easy to fix if you don't have experience- bottom drawer has to be removed to access flood switch, then machine needs to be test run and checked for leaks. Best to call the professionals!!

We have the Q 2 drawer dishwasher stopped working.

the f1 is the flood sensor....a leak has accured....either a dish to larger or lid motor has failed. will need to remove bottom drawer and soak up water and then let air dry for a day or two....turn off the breaker this will keep it from beeping and running the pumps....after drying unit will run, but need to watch the dishes you put in drawers.

Cant turn off the dishwasher

Babas, the F1 fault code for most FP dishwasher models means that there is a leak. It can be one or both drawers. Regardless of which is leaking, your fault code is telling you that the base pan has water inside. You will probably need to call for factory service to repair.
