SOURCE: Not sure how to tell what model Riccar sewing

Manuals are available on the Riccar site.
http://www.riccar.com/help/manuals/
Have a look at a few to see if any are similar to your machine. There are quite a few but I'm afraid but that's the only way I can think of doing it without seeing a picture of the machine.
Most machine have the model number written on them somewhere, but that doesn't sound like the case here.
Hopefully your manual will be able to tell you which settings are correct for your machine in able for it to sew properly.
Hope this helps!

Lost manual

I couldn't find my manual for the Dual Sew 3500, either, and long story short, I discovered the manufacturer of Dual Sew is the parent company of Janome; that the Janome 4618 Limited Edition is virtually the same machine; wrote to Janome and they emailed me the PDF manual for th 4618LE. What a relief.
