Question about Philips 42PF7320 42 in. EDTV-Ready Plasma Television
I read a post you had about a plasma. I have a 42pf7321d/37 from philips and I disconnected the cable that is in the upper left of the power board and now the power stays on versus it shutting itself off when it is plugged in. Does this mean it is the y sus board and if so, do I need to get the exact part number or are there some that are compatible. Also, if you have seen this before, how long do these TV's generally last since I too am out of warranty.
You're right. The YSUS board is gone. And most likely the Y SCAN UPPER & Y SCAN LOWER boards also gone. You need to replace these 3 boards. The original boards are from Samsung and you can get them from Samsung. The three boards may cost you US$400 more.
