Hi i have a jWIN jukeman MP3 and i dont know how to download music onto it so can you please tell me how? oh and its model is a JX-MP101WHT hopefully that helps.....

Hi nukebad13...
Downloading Music to your MP3 Player

1...You must download and install Windows Media Player 11 on your computer.
NOTE...Some older MP3 players will not work with Windows Media Player 11 or Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 11.
If this happens to you, then you will have to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 and install Windows Media Player 10.
2...After you have downloaded and installed Media Player on your computer.
3...Open Media Player on your computer.
4...Install all your music into Media Player that you want to install on your MP3 player.
5...Plug in your MP3 player to the computer using your Data/Sync cord, be sure that Windows Media Player is on.
6...Media player should recognize the MP3 player and sync with it.
7...After it is sync'ed with the computer,you can add the music you have installed into Windows Media Player to your MP3 Player.
Please take time to rate me thumbs up.

My GPX mp3 player says MTP?

MTP stands for Media Transfer Protocol. If you did not run your installation CD BEFORE plugging the mp3 player into the computer, Windows XP and higher will read it as an MTP Device. As long as the player does not cause you problems, there is nothing wrong with your computer calling it that. If this is a problem: unplug the mp3 player from the computer, uninstall all software for that player, restart computer, reinstall allsoftware from installation CD, restart computer, then plug mp3 player into computer. Good luck!

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Ideas to explore further:
  • the first computer is infected with a virus that then transferred to your 1Gb Coby MP3 audio player. The virus wrote a script on the MP3, whenever the MP3 is plug to another PC, if will infect the computer and make itself inaccessible so as not to be able to be erased;
  • hardware, for some reason, the electronics of the MP3 was affected upon removal from the 1st PC;
  • you could try a format of the MP3 but that of course would delete all of its contents. Since normal recognition of Windows is not possible, pls try to download, install and run HP Flash Utility.
Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy Holidays.

My mp3 wont play songs that i put

My jwin jx-mp101blk quit when I deleted the folders in it to make room for saving stuff. It still works as a memory stick, but won't play. What are the needed files?

Not enough space for Music DB, please free 8 MB

The Sansa m250 requires a separate folder to load your songs to in order to achieve the full 2 GB. Set your USB to MSC. Plug it into your computer. Create a folder TUNES. Then drag and drop your mp3 or wma files to this new folder.
