Need radio code for a 1996 T100 SR5.. Deck # 51706

First make sure that the code has not been noted somewhere within the car (underneath the ash tray, glove box , rear of sun visor etc)

To see if your code is available here  for free then the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard (and if you are lucky, someone may have written the code on the casing ) .

If not then POST A NEW  QUESTION

quoting the radio MAKE+MODEL plus ALL the LETTERS+NUMBERS on ANY LABELS ,BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING

Also quote the full details of the MAKE & MODEL of CAR

note: Unfortunately not all radios can be decoded using the Serial Number

Otherwise try your Main Dealer ...........or take it into a Decode Service who will plug in a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM). This takes a few minutes and shouldn`t be too expensive

Problem with sterio code for honda civic LX 2005

Are you looking for a code to unlock your stereo ?

Tip

How To Find Your Radio/Stereo Unlock Code

<span><span>As a security feature, the Radio or Stereo Unlock Code is meant to prevent another person from using the Stock Stereo from your vehicle without proof of ownership of the vehicle. To obtain the Unlock Code for your Radio or Stereo, you will need the title, VIN, proof of insurance, etc. to prove that you own the vehicle or are authorized to Unlock the Stereo using the factory generated code. At the dealership, this should always be a free service, but some dealerships may charge to generate or lookup the Stereo Unlock Code.<br /><br />When you have your Radio Unlock Code, use the Preset Keys to input this code into your Stereo. You should hear a Beep when this code has been entered, this is an Unlock Confirmation. To retrieve your code, try the following suggestions:<br /> <ol> <li>If you have your Service or Owners manual, usually in the Glove compartment, look for the Radio Security Code in there. Usually it is on a White, Credit Card looking card, in the Manual.</li> <li>You can also check on the Sides of the <a href="/../cars/t8671868-unplugged_battery_post#"><span>Glove</span><span> </span><span>box</span></a>, inside and outside, for the Radio Code. It may be on a Sticker. Sometimes you can also find the Code under the Ash tray, on or around the Door Jamb on the door, or on the <a href="/../cars/t8671868-unplugged_battery_post#"><span>vehicle</span></a>, and in the Trunk, or on the bottom of the Trunk Lid.</li> <li>You can also use your VIN in many cases by calling the Dealer Service Department, and they can lookup the Radio Code using the VIN.</li> <li>If all else fails, you will have to remove the Stereo to gain access to the Serial Number. Write this number down and contact your Local Dealership to retrieve the Unlock Code for your Stereo. There is no charge for this.</li></ol></span></span>

Need radio code 1992 Honda accord , called dealer they want$, I have the Part # 39100-SM2-A300-M1. ref # CM6902B, serial F20232137B

What?? They want money? That is rediculous! I actually used to own a 1992 Honda Accord and also needed the radio code because I disconnected the battery. I went to my dealership (Honda House, hondahousemn.com), presented the VIN and serial number. After proof of ownership, they looked up the code and wrote it down for me free of charge. If possible, I would try going to a different dealership. Maybe even calling a different dealership would work. Unfortunately, Honda dealerships are the only place for Honda radio codes.

Other Options:
It MAY be written down somewhere in the manual.
It MAY be written down and hidden somewhere in your glove box.
You could MAYBE try going to a repair shop such as AutoZone or Strauss and ask them if they have access to such things.

ALSO, please visit http://www.radio-code.com/Honda-Pay-Page-radio-code-NEW-proced.htm for more information about the Honda radio code.

I hope this helps!!!

There should be a 14 character Serial Number beginning with RN or PH or similar (often found stamped in the metal casing ) and maybe a Security Number in the format of TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode so please quote EVERYTHING you can find
