It states online that it is "Plug-in-Play" and that it doesn't need drivers.

    Still does not show in My Computer in my Xp system. It is an old Maxtor 160 GB PATA drive.
    I'll try to see if it shows in my other HDs with Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bits and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits. I'' ll take a look in the connections within the enclosure
    I'll inform you of my investigation.

When you need a driver, the producer of the device is the most logical source. But since Windows 7 Microsoft does not allow any driver to imbedded in their operating system. Everyone who wants a driver to be working with windows 7 and up, needs certification from Microsoft. For that it must be written in the limits from Microsoft. So if Subagent could not make a driver Microsoft would certify, you can't get a driver to make the adapter to work.
Try to find out what the compatibility list from Sorbent says. If it is XP or Vista, it won't work on Windows 8, not even in compatibility mode.

Card Reader on tower won't work.
You must have checked the wrong model, because if its not there, then the PC didn't come with vista, and if you can't figure out how to find a driver, you didn't blow away windows 7, and clean install vista and find drivers for it. Check again. If someone else did load vista on it, then all you need to do is look at the driver for win 7, and see what the MFG is and then go to there website, if the driver does not have the name of the hardware, you can try using win 7 driver, if you get wrong OS, right click on the .EXE and choose properties and pick compatibility and set for vista.

Or just post the correct model like TAX asked.

Your problem seems to be related to the driver your capture card uses. I would recommend updating them.

Hola, tiene camara tu lap?? si es así desactivala antes de usar el sintonizador en caso de que uses windvr3 ya que crea un conflicto y trata de usar primero la cam,entra a administrador de dispositivos y busca tu camara en disp de imagenes,da clic derecho y desactivar, con eso debes de poder usar el windvr3 saludos de mexico tambien.
