No picture I have a 42PF7320A/37 phillips plasma tv that has no picture and a red light is flashing. What needs to be done and how much would it cost?

Had same problem....Its fixed now working great....had 2 blown capacitors.Cost me two bucks and about an hour to fix.Look at the capacitors on the main power supply they should be flat...I you need help email me [email protected]

With most startup issue with this model there usually is a blink code sequence on power led on front of set. regardless of sequence though you would want to isolate problem by disconnecting y main from power supply and check voltages on power supply and if they come up replace the y main and y buffer boards located on left side of tv looking from back and if voltages do not come reconnect y main and disconnect x main and check voltages again and if still not coming up reconnect and verify vs on command on pin 2 of logic interconnect and if 3 volts present replace power supply and if 0 volts present replace ssb
