Coby Mp300 I have a coby mp300 and it says it is compatible with mac OS X which is also the computer i have, how can i download the songs from my itunes ontothe mp3 player please help me

Hello, itunes uses mp4 audio format, you first have to conver the songs to mp3 with ITUNES, here is a guide on how to do it with itunes:

once the files are converted to mp3, you can then drag and drop them to the mp3 player from where they are saved on your computer., itunes usually stores them in a location on your computer.

Coby MP3 player says file error wont download songs onto it
You plug it in then go on to the internet and download Tune4mac ALSO FOR PC then once downloaded you open itunes and add all the songs you want on it then go to file then library then burn play list to disk then change blank cd to tune4mac then weight till done then just drag to mp300 mp3 player and done

you can not............but, this how you get your files onto coby...........plug coby device up to pc...go to my computer and open the new device........now open the folder that has the music...copy and paste (or click and drag) files from pc to coby..............have fun.....feel free to rate the help

I bought Coby MP300 used and memory is almost full and I need to erase whatever is in there.
You need to download a driver for the MP300 available from coby.com. Follow the instructions to load the driver, connect the MP300 directly to the PC (you can use a USB extension cable). You can then clear the existing data and load your new data. I can send you a copy of the user manaual if you need it.

I deleted the coby software on my Coby MP300
Easiest solution that comes to mind is find someone with the same player. see if you load the drivers on your pc in a file if the you can load it as a new device and open it using drivers on your pc. Just a thought. then load the files back on the unit once you get access.
