Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to down load pictures to computer

Most cameras have a cable that connects between the camera and a usb port on your computer. Read the instructions. If you can't find them, I'd turn the camera off before you make the connection. Then after 15 seconds or so if the camera doesn't turn on by itself, you can turn it on manually.

Your computer probably has some software that will volunteer to help you down load the camera at the point. If nothing hapens you have two choices. The official method is to use software that should be on a disc that came with the camera.

If you aren't able to use anything already on your computer AND you know how work with windows views of files in folders, bring up the window for "My Computer" or "Computer" from the Start Menu, and navigate to the correct drive, probably something with the letter "E:" or higher.

Can't give you more specifics, based on what I know about your situation.

Installed new cartridges in Canon i850 and printer seems as though it is printing but does not grab the paper from paper feeder and gives an error (no number). Instructs me to press REsume button and power...

I changed the USB port that the printer was connected to and... VOILA...works like a charm with the new cartridges installed. Not sure what the problem was as windows recognized the printer and the drivers were correctly installed before the new cartridges even came into the picture.

there should of been a usb cable that came with your camera. Plug into your computeer, and a new drive letter will pop on under my computer. You can open by right click on the new drive letter, and click open. Then you can copy and past to your local drive, to burn them on cd/dvd.

How to down load picture from camera to computer

If you have a computer with Windows XP SP2 or Windows VISTA, it should recognize the camera when connected via USB cable. If the computer doesn't recognize the camera and prompt you for a choice, go to "My Computer" and look for either your camera or a newly named drive. Once found, double click on it until you see your photos. These can then be copied and pasted into a new folder or uploaded (saved).

Picture down load

If your computer is Windows ME/2000/XP/Vista you will not need a disk or its software for this function. Simply plug the camera into a USB port. make sure the camera is on ans set to upload-and Windows will put up the Camera/Scanner Wizard Simply direct the images to a suitable folder.
