Question about Mitsubishi WD-65731 65" HDTV
When I try to turn the TV on, it sounds like it is turning on but nothing shows up on the screen. Then after a minute or so it just shuts off. Any idea whats wrong??
Talked to a tech and he said it was 3.3v and a 12v compasitor in the power supply that is a common problem with these large TV's from Mitsubishi. There are 4 of the 3.3v and 1 12v that need to be changed. He said it is a problem with about 5 different models. He also said that once these are changed out that you dont have the problem again. If this happens to you be sure to ask Mitsubishi if they intend to help with the repairs. they will review and probably help defray the cost since it is a common problem.

Sounds like the power supply is going or gone out on the set
