Erasing photos HI, I'm trying to erase photos but without success. I tell it to erase all but nothing happens. I have taken off the protection but still can't seem to erase any photos. Do you have any idea of what could be preventing the photos being erase. I can't take any pictures as it keeps telling me the memory is full. Thankjs.

How do I delete photos from the camera?

You have to select Erase function, then select All Erase, then Yes and OK. Taken from page 33 on the manual.

Note: When erasing the pictures in internal memory do not insert card.

Hi there
Face the card towards you, look for a small white tab on the left hand side of the card, to unlock it push the tab down, it will be at the side of the card like this 59a6de4.jpg .

Hi there.
Check to make sure the write protection is turned off on the memory card itself, the write protection tab is located on the left hand side of the card and is usually coloured white.

Protected card on my camera

Check your owners manual about protected photos. There is a setting in the camera's setup that keeps you from accidentally erasing photos.
