Toshiba Cimema Series 55''

I have this Cinema Series and it is blurry on the outside edges. What can I do about this problem on my own, without calling an expensive repair person to come out and fix it?

I don't have an owners manual and when I get the TV to the proper screen, where it shows me the color and how much it is off by, I can't figure out how to center or defrag the color. Non of the buttons will move it. I've tried them all.

as I stated before and because I have fixed a few toshiba I will say that you will need a tech in your home they are going to replace the stk ic and probably some resistors along with some resoldering on the power supply and convergence section.

the last one I did was for $325

Check the anti-judder settings and also the viewing mode (Cinema, Sports, Game?) and refresh rate in the TV setup options. Depending on the source input and resolution, the anti-judder settings can actually make screen motions worse and blurry.

Ht-z210 home cinema protect error

Protection Error means that there is a malfunctioning component inside your unit. It will go into protection mode and immediately shut down to protect your system from any further damage. Unfortunately you would have to bring it to a dealer or repair shop to diagnose the exact malfunction and that could be expensive.

Blurry screen double vision picture

The convergence circuit has failed. It is not a easy fix due to the tear down needed to get to the circuit area. I would call Mitsubishi at 18003322119 to get a Authorized Service Facility to check it out and give you a estimate of repair cost.

No heat, will turn on and spin with cool air only. does not dry clothes.

Okay, let me try to solve this with three possible solutions:
EASY AND CHEAP: Check the hose, the lint filter and the vent for obstructions. If the air is not getting out then the safety switch in the dryer will tell the element not to heat up. Without this safety switch the dryer becomes a fire hazard (and that's a whole other FixYa problem!). Make sure the hose is not crimped or clogged and that the outside vent is opening properly.
HARDER AND MORE EXPENSIVE: The heating element may be burned out or have a loose connection. This is a little bit harder fix but can be done without consulting a repairperson. However, if you have little or no experience then don't try that at home.
EASY BUT MOST EXPENSIVE: Buy a new dryer. If you do, see if the company you buy it from will take a trade in. If not, call a small appliance repair shop and see if they would like to buy your machine to repair and resell. This might offset some of the cost of the new dryer.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
