Question about Maytag Neptune MDG5500AW Gas Dryer
Bot dryer at a sale. had to change cord. wired wrong and blew braker. fixed and now everything works except heater. checked all fuses with ome metter and all look good.heat relay seems to work. what should i do next?

I think the ignitor might have failed, that could be why it was being sold.
This isn't generally a tough replacement and not too costly.

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.
