hi, the Dazzle is a DV SD capture card and the signal comming out from Xbox is HD, may be refreshing rates that are not admited, you may need a downscaler, or a HD capture card !
I up graded my pinnacle disk wich before was fine on old lappy the up grade disk pushed me into upgrading lappy due to graphics card being heavy i3 but as the lappys upgrade they stop using firewire but pinnacle still demand it pretty f# Realy not happy
A general workaround would be to let your software create an ISO image instead of burning a disc. Then burn the ISO with a known-good burning software (many user here - me included - recommend ImgBurn).
I would try simply copying one of the already completed discs using a stable and well known burning program like Nero.
Programs like Pinnacle can be very temperamental when exporting their projects to disc.
