This only works if your device and carrier support tethering and if you have data plan. You need to refer to your operator's manual of your phone and contact your carrier to see if this is possible. There is not a generic solution for this issue and since you didn't provide any specific information on your device or carrier, I can't give you more of a specific answer.

Hi,
No your phone is not connected. The 'e' means that your phone is internet connection on it, that is you can use your phone to browse on internet. So , do not worry yourself.
To get the phone profile, scroll to phone setting, press okay and scroll to phone profile. Regards.

I need to use this phone as a modem for internet. How?

  • Connect the Samsung cell phone and computer. If you are connecting via USB, connect one end of the USB cable to your Samsung phone and the other end to your computer. It may take a few seconds for the proper drivers for the AT&T Samsung phone to install. If pairing via Bluetooth, make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your Samsung phone and start a search for devices on your Bluetooth-enabled computer by right-clicking the Bluetooth icon in your taskbar.
  • Launch Internet Sharing, found in the Start menu on your AT&T Samsung cell phone. Open the application.
  • Configure Internet Sharing. The status menu should read "Disconnected." Under the PC Connection setting, select the method you will use to connect your cell phone to the computer--USB and Bluetooth PAN are the choices. You shouldn't need to change anything under Network Connection, unless a network other than AT&T is showing on the display.
  • Start the Internet Sharing connection. On your AT&T Samsung device, press the Connect soft key. It may take up to 30 seconds for the connection to be negotiated, during which the status line may say "Check USB cable connection"; this is normal.
  • Connect the computer to the Internet sharing phone. If your computer and phone are paired via USB, no further pairing is needed. You will see the shared Internet connection as a wired connection in your Network and Sharing control panel on the computer. If you are connected to the Internet Sharing application via a Bluetooth personal area network, the computer must be synced to the phone. Right-click on the Bluetooth icon in the taskbar and select "Connect to a PAN" or similar, based on the version of Windows you are using. A list of all Bluetooth PAN connections within range is shown; select your AT&T Samsung phone. The PAN connection will be negotiated, and the Internet connection will be shared.

I want to connect internet in my pc from my LG GM200

There are two things that you need. 1. A GPRS connection. For this you go to the helpline of AirCel on your phone and have it activated. 2. The CD that must have accompanied the phone. It will have all the drivers that you need. Install them. 3. If the SW that came with the Phone does not create a network connection to connect to the internet, then create an internet connection after connecting the phone thru USB cable. 4. Configure the internet connection and connect.

How to connect to internet with my cell phone motorzr max v6

Using your cell phone as a modem is perhaps the most overlooked of all Internet connection options. But a mobile phone Internet connection, whether as a tethered modem or, using bluetooth, a wireless cell phone Internet connection, is easy to set up, and with a laptop and cellphone you can check email and surf the web from anywhere, any time, with the Internet in your pocket!
Here are the basic instructions for creating a mobile phone Internet connection. The instructions are for a cell phone with bluetooth (which most cell phones these days have), but if your cell phone doesn’t have bluetooth you can buy a cable to connect your laptop to your phone from any cell phone accessory provider. Conversely, if your cell phone has bluetooth but your laptop does not, you can buy a small USB device which will enable bluetooth on your computer.

How can i use my motorola z3 to connect with the internet

If you mean "how can I connect my computer to the internet using my phone as a modem," then this is possible. Just set up an internet connection from your computer to go through your phone (works wirelessly, I've never tried with USB), and make sure you have a Data Plan on your phone. Connect to the internet with your phone and then use it like Wi-Fi. Keep in mind this will be much slower than using an internet card or any other sort of wireless connection to the internet.

As for getting internet on your phone through your computer, I'm pretty sure you can't do this. It doesn't make sense to even try. It's redundant. Just download what you need using your computer. Then sync the phone to the computer via bluetooth or USB and transfer whatever files you desire to your phone. There's no need to get the phone directly connected to the internet if you have a computer that can get on the internet.
