Question about Washing Machines
I have had a tec out to repair the broken stablizers shocks and now i have a constant f02 code when it goes into the final rinse cycle. what can i do i have cleared the drain under the washer and found quarters and rinsed the whole trap thing and even took apart the black thing next to the drain to with properellas inside that seemed to be fine but it is not spinning and rinsing
If you have already cleared the drain pump reservoir and verified the drain hoses are all clear, you may have a drain pump that is damaged and is not pumping any longer. The following link explains the "F02" error, just in case you didn't know:
The link recommends replacing the drain pump as corrective action if all the preliminary checks prove unsuccessful. Since you mentioned you found quarters inside the pump, its a good possiblity the pump impeller and/or motor has been damaged and is no longer pumping. This next link explains how to replace the pump:
You can perform this repair yourself, if you wish to save yourself another service call. If this was a Sears service call, their repairs used to be guaranteed for 90 days. Which means, if the repairman fixed the machine and it breaks again within the 90 day period, the next service call should be free of charge. If you do not have such a guarantee and wish to repair this yourself, a replacement pump can be found at searspartsdirect.com. Just type in your model number and follow the parts listings on the next page. For comparative shopping, repairclinic.com also carries the part, sometimes for less. I hope this helps you. If you require addtional assistance, please let me know.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
F02 is a drain error in your washer, if the unit is unable to drain then after 4 minutes it will display suds and then F02. The first thing that should be done is cleaning the drain hose and the drain pump filter, you can take out three torx screws from the bottom front panel and then clean the area completely, lift up the cap to clean the filter. If the error returns then check the drain pump if it is not working then replacing the pump is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
