Question about Creative Labs Muvo V100 MP3 Player

Not working when i turn it on it not working still in creative.it not enter to any songs or anything.if connected to pc it does not respond it.what can i do for this.

Hey first of all check the requirement ur player , sometime the player doesn't work on Xp service pack 1, it works on service pack 2, check that all the requirement r completed and try to download the updater if required any, try out all this n tel me.

hi ashrudheen we have the same MP3 player, here is the problem, there is a possibility that your mp3 player need a new firmware to get it running.

here is what you do, go to the link below then click on the "Update your firmware" this method will remove all information in the device, but will get your player up and running again like mine.

connect it to your computer and then go to the E:/ the E drive and go in to artisst click it's song title delete it your mp3  will stop playing and then add it bakc and should work

Player frozen, green light on


i had my GFs mp3 player and it was flashing green light, not solid, but still was frozen and couldnt even bring it up on my computer after plugging in the USB cable. but i just tapped the reset button on top right side, and it stopped flashing and turned off. i turned it back on and started to play normally. not sure if it will be the same since the light situation is different, but the reset button worked for me. good luck

Not working


first of all go to My computer check into it properties- hardware- device manager- does it show windows portable device or not...if it doesn't show u anything ..switch off and then re connect the device to the computer and setup the network wizard..
i hope it ll work 4 u..

Creative Labs Nomad Zen Extra Jukebox 30 GB not working


Uninstall everything from your PC, reboot, reinstall driver and the Explorer (I do not use MediaSource, only the Explorer).

If it didn't work out follow these steps:

1. Uninstall Creative Media Source and all related software.
2. Install the driver. In the installation CD the driver is usually in \Drivers\English
3. Turn on the Nomad an connect it to the PC.
4. Install MediaSource(the program requires that you have the nomad connected while installing)
5. Install MediaSource plugin
6. Try transferring files.

If you?re still running into problem know that there are other programs capable of handling MediaSource?s functions, such as - Portable Audio Devices Power Toy , NomadSync, Real player, and there?s also a Zen plugin for the Winamp.

My 30gb creative zen froze and after being reset all of my songs are gone excpet a handful.

Seeing as how you can access Recovery Mode, can perform its disk operations, and seeing as how your computer does recognize it, it seems there's a good chance it's simply firmware corruption causing your problem.
