Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router

Hooking up wireless linksys

I feel like an idiot, but I moved several months ago and have just now found my wireless router. I can't figure out how to connect the linksys (model wrt54g) to the little dsl box from embarq. (right now, ethernet cord goes from the little dsl box to my computer and the phone cord goes from the little dsl box into the phone jack. but I can't figure out what cords go where with the linksys) Since I am hooking to the same computer as it was previously, everything else should be the same. can someone please help?

Thank you for your quick response. When I hooked the ethernet cords up as you told me, i lost my on line connection. I hooked up PC to linksys port 1 then embarq to internet port and when I tried to go back to internet, it said page not available. It had logged me off. Is there something else I should be doing?

From ethernet of embarq plug it to the Internet port of Linksys. Your PC should be connected to port 1 of Linksys

You need to run the setup CD that came with the router after hooking the cables the way I told you. If things are not working, You can call linksys support # at 18003267114 or their live chat at this link:
