I want to build a PC from scratch, but once I put everything together, how do I install an operating system onto it? Can I just put a disc in an follow the instructions?

Go into the bios, set the cd/dvd drive to be the first boot drive.

Then make sure the operating system disc is inserted, and exit and save the bios.

From there, it should load the disc, and you would just follow the instructions.
