Hi

I think it is placed in the some deep place which is not affecting your printing but please check with the service centres and the replace the part which is broken for aviod the future problems

Every time I go to copy the paper gets jammed going into C from A. I have pulled out the A drawer and pulled the jam out of C numerous times and it keeps happening. What do I do?

Make sure the machine has toner. Sometimes running out of toner can cause jams. Otherwise make sure there are no tiny scraps of paper lodged anywhere. The tiniest piece can cause a jam. Also, make sure all the sensors are clean (they look like two little eyes). Make sure your paper tray is set to the right size and direction of paper if your copier has that setting - it is a green dial in the paper tray. If you've checked all these things you'll have to call your service tech because it may be a bad sensor or something else.

Paper jam light is on

Look real close. It is difficult to see very small pieces of paper that coudl be lodged in many areas. Also if you take a clean cloth with a little rubbing alchol and clean the sensors, this may help

A piece of foam sponge under the ink catridges has broken, and the printer will not cleanly draw paper for printing - it jams.

The sponge under the print cartridges is to soak up the ink when cleaning the print heads. If part of it broken off and lodged in the rollers where the paper is drawn into the printer then try to locate the sponge and remove it. Sounds like it's lodged somewhere and jamming the paper feed.

Paper jam, but no jam + paper feed problem

check to make sure there aren't little pieces of paper jammed at the ends of the roller. if you can pop out the roller easily you may find tiny pieces of paper still lodged in there

Paper jam

Remove the toner, and try to gently pull out the paper jam.. If the page gets torn, or ripped, make sure you have all the pieces of the paper removed. Then re-start the printer. Print a test page to make sure the paper path is clear..

Paper jam

Don't know if it's the same problem i had but its maybe worth a try. Mine is a Canon MP160 but again its maybe worth a try.
My paper went in a little, the wheels were turning but it didn't take the rest of the paper or print.
Someone replied to my problem, i tried it and it fixed 1st time. Also seems to of worked for others

Solution:- Use a piece of thin card, a magazine cover is what i used, make sure its A4 size then try to print something, as the paper starts moving push it through! and hey presto it worked for me, everything printing fine now

Canon PIXMA MP160 showing paper jam, but none

hi
just recently had these problems
symptoms:
LED flashing E3 code and alarm light was solid. But dissapeared when opened the coved and came back on when closed the cover.
Also the when the cover was open the inks did not slide out to the left and stayed to the right side.
There was no paper jam, but error said paper jam.

Solution:
1. I took a thick piece of paper, from like a paper folder ones, thick enough to go in the printer and not curl up when pushed..
2. turned off the printer and turned it back on.
3, while printer was turning on,and makings sound as it does normally when turning on, I pushed through the piece of paper and the rotors stoped for a millisecond.
4.the rotors started again and pushed out the paper by it self with out my force.
5. I let the printer get started. and then turned it off and then on.
6. this solved all of my problems.
this was the first problem ever with this printer in 3 years.,preety good printer.

good luck...

Ok, my machine was also showing E3, and would NOT go away. My solution: turn the machine off, feed a piece of thick cardstock into the paper feed.Turn the machine on, let the machine take the paper almost all the way in, then pull it back all the way out against the feed. My E3 disappeared and has not yet returned!! Hope this helps David

Paper jam, paper not feeding

you might want to figure out how the paper flows through the printer. Sets of rollers move the paper up, down, down, and up check from where the paper starts in and around to where it ends it might just be one piece of paper crumbled up very small somewhere lodged in the rollers.
