Dear Sir How to transfer large videos from nikon s3000 to pc ? regards sarbjit singh

Hi singhsrbjit ,

Please follow the procedure below to transfer your video files from your camera to your pc.

  1. Install the nikon software which you get in the disc supplied with your camera.
  2. After installting the software , the moment you connect your camera to your pc , and switch it on , it will indicate that your device nikon 3000s has been successfully connected in the bottom right hand corner of your screen.
  3. When you go in my computer , by double clicking the icon on the desktop , you will find a directory for your nikon camera.
  4. When you open up that directory you will be able to search for the video files , that you have captured.
  5. When you find the video files that you need to copy you just have to select them , by pressing ctrl on the keyboard and clicking once on the icon of the video file , and repeat this procedure for the other multiple files that you want to select.
  6. Once you have selected, you just need to make a folder on your desktop or anywhere on your root drive for e.g. c:\my videos , then open the new folder and right click in the white space and choose paste option and you will find that your video files are being copied to your hard disk.
Hope this helps...:)

I can't cancel a document on my hp 6210, so it won't let me print. I shut down my system in the middle of printing yesterday and it won't work now. please help

Suggestion. Leave the printer OFF.

Power up the PC and when it is set to go, look at the bottom right side of the scree and see if there is a small printer icon. If there is, then double click on the icon.

This opens the print queue. With the print queue, highlight the print job that is causing the problem and then cancel it.

How do I clear all of my current jobs, says printer is always busy? HELP!!!

The easiest way is to flush the print queue.

If you are using a Windows platform then when you look at the bottom right hand side of the screen you will see a small icon of a printer. Double click on the icon and then the print queue box will open.

In the window, you will see all the jobs that are waiting to be printed. You can highlight and then delete each job.

Be aware that there are other things that can cause a printer to "Busy" out. For example, an out of paper.

How to cancel printing a document

If the document is currently printing and you are using Windows, then at the bottom right of the screen you should see a printer icon (picture).

Double click on that icon and it will open the printer dialogue box and you will be able to cancel the printing from there.

My Nikon D40X won't take pictures, only makes squishy sound

take the batteries out of the camera and the memory card..verify that the memory cards are good by trying them in a printer or another cam..
other thing is you might not be in picture taking might be in the settings mode..check the user manual if you don't know if you are.

When printer is turned on it prints pictures from week ago.

there are 2 possibilities, it is either the printer has a malfunctioning memory, or your computer's print queue is still loaded.

for the pritn queue, look at at the bottome right hand side corner of your pc, look for the printer icon, right cliek on it the open, on the printer window that will appear, right click on the files then hit "remove". if this did not do, best move is to uninstall and reinstall the printer to refresh the actuall memory it hold in your computer.

My stupid camera

Dont turn the camera on. If you have a cable that came with the camera you need to plug it into your camera and also into your USB port on your computer. Then turn the camera on.
Press the windows key (flying windows picture on it) and also the E key and windows explorer will open.
It should be recognised as an extra drive (possibly E or F)
If you look at the new drive by clicking on it you will see a subfolder and in that folder will be your pictures.
Click on one once and press Ctrl+A to highlight all of them and then right click and choose copy. Go to a location on your C drive where you want to copy your pictures to and then right click on that area and choose paste. Voila.....
Check they are all there first in the new location before removing them from your camera.
However....if your camera came with a disk and the new drive E or F isnt there (ie the computer does not have the drivers for your camera) you may have to load the nikon software from the disk that came with your camera and then start again.
To remove your camera from the computer - dont forget to right click in the bottom right hand corner of your screen on the USB icon (a sideways green arrow) and choose disconnect/unplug/eject
If you dont do this you may corrupt the card in your camera for next time.
