You have not mention your Operating System(OS) on your PC System.

To get USB 2.0 support for VIA Chipset Mainboard
1. For Win 98 OS, you have to install "VIA chipset USB 2.0 driver"
2. For WinXP OS you must install, at least Service Pack 1, (recommended you install the lastest Service Pack 3) to to get USB 2.0 support.
3. Install the VIA Chipset drivers for your Mainboard ie "VIA Hyperion 4-in-1 driver v5.12A".

which keyboard are you using? for instance USB or PS2. For it happens sometimes that USB is disabled into the BIOS. If you are with a USB one, try with a PS2.
