I am getting an E 03 on my cd screen and I can't get the cd out - what can I do?

The cd maybe stuck inside the radio may need to take it apart and try it that way

If from the set only the original remote on some models will have a 'display' button which should remove or call this up.

They make a cd player cleaner you can buy about any audio store , I would give that a shot first. Looks like a cd with small brushes on it. The laser is probably dirty.

doe it do it with all CD's or just one? try to clean the laser, if you can see the laser use a cotton bud and a bit of spit. then the dry end. if that fails you need a replacement laser - transport, or could be a power supply fault.

Have you tried resetting the stereo?
Disconnect the negative of your battery, wait at least 30 seconds then re-connect it.

That will reset your radio back to factory settings.

My endeavor has done this error 3 a couple of times and the cd changer basically shuts off all lights and won't do anything. Someone on another solution page said to slide a credit card back and forth in the cd opening to fix the problem. I've done this both times and it has made the changer play again as if nothing had happened : )

if disc is burnt one this can happen if disc is bought from store you may need to have unit removed to get it fixed,try disconnecting battery to see if it resets itself,some burnt CDs are nothing but trouble

the radio is failed internally, you need a new radio - its possibly jambed and you can remove the top plate on the radio and remove the discs - but it might lock up again
