Hello,
This doesn't necessarily mean your account was hacked. A lot of times what happens is you get a virus on your computer which collects information about your email and contacts, then it sends automated emails to your contacts, enticing them to open a link and get infected as well. This is how a lot of viruses spread, and are proven to be more affective as it appears to be coming from someone your contacts know and trust.
The best thing to do is scan your PC with a good virus scanner and also with something like malwarebytes.org (download the free).
Change your email password asap just to be sure.
A virus can send email on your behalf without using your password and without logging into your email.
Also, if at all possible, never check your email on public computers, at libraries etc.. They could be full of viruses and key loggers.
Regards, Chris

My email was hacked by someone, now i cant access my email. how i can get my email back

Hi

E-mail accounts are usually hacked in 3 ways:

A weak or easy to guess password

Opening attachments in malicious e-mails containing spyware

Keylogger spyware infection on your computer that logs your keyboard strokes

The disclosure of the password.

Report it to Yahoo support by selecting forgotten Username and password on the login page, answer security questions that only you should know the answers to. Then ask them to block the account.

Then open a new account with a different username and take care of its security by creating a strong password that nobody can guess, never revealing it to anybody.

Also, never open attachments in e-mails from anybody you do not recognize.

Protect your computer as well as you can and scan it regularly for malware

I hope this helps.
