Right click on my computer select properties and then choose the HARDWARE tab and click on DEVICE MANAGER.Now from that list see if you have see if you have this kind of mark(! or ?) besides SOUND,VIDEO AND GAME CONTROLLERS.If you have the mark then double click on sound, video and under that you will see the name of you sound card, double click on it again and select the DRIVER tab and then update the drivers automatically.

    Goodluck,

My sound has come off

Do you have an icon like this on the right under? Then click on it, and klik on the icon. Set the volumebar up.
24377939-avqeu4a1gllmaphynxf0bw03-2-0.png If this is ok, you can try a headphone. If the headphone works, then your soundcard is ok. It may be the internal switch. If you have still no sound, you can check if the driver is still ok. Otherwise your soundcard may be broken.

I can't listen to anything there's absolutly no audio coming wat do I need

You didn't write what kind of device do you use (laptop,pc), or the model of your sound card.
You can either have:
- problem with soundcard drivers (check Device Manager in Windows system, install soundcard drivers from CD)
- broken speakers/headphones (check with a different device)
- wrong soundcard settings (check sound settings in your computer)
- mute or too low volume (try increasing volume).

I forgot my soundcard name and now i lost the cd to instal it and now the sound card is broken. now i want to ask how i detect my soundcard name?

If it isn't a generic sond card, it is invariably printed on the soundcard itself. Find it, and go online and do a search for the drivers. If you have a generic one, you might want to buy an inexpensive name brand one. They offer better compatibility with the many player codecs out there. Good luck.

Sir i cant hear any sounds fr0m my acer aspire 3683NWXCi

If it came with a disk, reinstall the sound drivers. If you have no disk you might have to install a new soundcard. I bought a external USB soundcard and it fixed my prob. Hope this helps.

My laptop has no sound, it says no audio output is installed

Have you had your Soundcard working previously?
Did you recently install/reinstall your Operating system?

It sounds like a missing driver or a faulty soundcard.

To further assist you I need to know What Manufacturer and model your Laptop is and If you know it the manufacturer of your onboard sound chip.

Thanks
Dave

Idont get any sound at all through the speckers

This could be a number of things. The first thing to do is make sure the speakers arent faulty, grab some headphones or whatnot from a discman or ipod and plug em in.

If your using a soundcard/ not onboard sound. Then you need to try all the outlets with the speaker connection. Ive come across a few that are mis labeled. Also if your using a soundcard, you need to install all the drivers for your specific soundcard, and disable your onboard sound.

For onboard sound basically check the volume controls, make sure none of the boxes are muted. Silly i know but it happens.

Most issues can be fixed in the sound and audio part of the control panel, make sure your soundcard or whatnot is the installed option for playback, etc.
