No instructions included on how to install batteries or anything else!
I've tried unscrewing the only screw available on the base but nothing opens easily and I'm scared to force it too much.

Seriously what's the deal with that Mouse...??
I plug the USB Receiver into my PC's USB ports and nothing, absolutely nothing happens.
I have tried restarting my PC and all of that but nothing seems to help me.

In addition to what the official Samsung Pleomax site says THERE'S NO place to put EVEN ONE AAA Battery!!

I am also confused and cant get the mouse to work. i have however discovered if u put your thumb on the triangle of holes where it says pleomax on the tap, you can then slide that bit off and what looks like a usb plug in that came with it actually slides in there, and not in computer. on either side of the mouse you will also find to sets of grooves which are there for you to grip so you can slide thesilver surround off, and then the batteries go in either side. hop that makes sense. but there after am stuck, cant get it to work

I can't start my Pleomax SCM 4700 wireless mini mouse. Do I need batteries or install a driver for this ?

Hi.

The mouse needs 2 2 AAA batteries.

The manual is available here. Click on download at the top of Pleomax page and select the model.

This mouse does not need drivers. Plug in the wireless unit and the drivers should be installed automatically. Put batteries first.

Here a forum on the topic.

Optical wireless mini mouse 98763 feature #9 is

I had all the same problems listed in fixit and found that all it took was placing all NEW batteries in the mouse.
Press the blue light button on the USB and the little black reset button on the bottom of the mouse at the same time. Worked good from there on.

The red light of the mouse turns off. i take out the batteries and put them back in and it works only for a minute. the batteries are new. what'srong?

The light should turn off after some time of inactivity, to conserve battery power. Normally pressing a button on the mouse wakes it up.

Help please

Try putting your thumb on the triangle holes, where it says pleomax on the top.
You can then slide that bit off and the usb plug that came with it actually slides in there and not in to the computer.
On either side of the mouse you will also find to sets of grooves which are there for you to grip so you can slide the silver surround off, the batteries should go in either side.
Hope that helps

Battery compartment for wireless mini optical mouse

This sounds like the mouse I just bought. If you look closely at the mouse, you'll notice a small gap that sort of divides the top of the mouse from the bottom. Hold the mouse as if you are going to use it then slide your fingers down past that gap. Gently push down and pull at the same time and the battery compartment is just underneath. Of course, when you drop it a couple of times, the battery compartment opens and the batteries roll out, lost forever :)

Wireless laser mouse 5000 model 1058, manufactured march 2008

Hello,
I found a website that offers the LR6 AA batteries that you were talking about and maybe purchase online. They look like regular AA batteries to me, but I am providing the link for you to view and make your determination. I hope this helps.

If you would not mind doing so could you please rate my help, I would appreciate it. Thanks
