Question about Samsung DVD-HD850 DVD Player
After loading a disc, it will read loading for a few seconds, but ultimately defaults to "no disc". Have tried several different DVDs to ensure it's not the type of disc we're using.
Okay, so I had this problem a few days ago and started watching movies on my X-box 360. Then my X-Box came up with the same error as my DVD player. After reading countless reviews and e-mailing Samsung, I read somewhere that someone had pummeled their X-Box until it adjusted the laser back.
So, I pummeled my DVD and X-Box into oblivion and oddly enough both of them are working. Don't go crazy smacking it but give it some sturdy hits right above the CD tray as you are putting CD's in and opening the tray. Worked for me and hope it helps...
