If all fuses are good, see that your power is at the brake light switch, and passes through when the pedal is depressed. You can also check for ground and positive voltage at the bulb socket.

Check if all brake lights are not working or not , if only one of em is faulty then its time to replace the bulbs . Else its just a blown fuse. Check users manual to find how to replace a fuse .
Thank you .

Installed EMG 57/66 into and Ibanez PS 10-2. Plugged all wires as shown in the instructions. Had to install a longer stereo jack plug. Now I only get bridge pickup. Cannot get neck pickup to work.

It calls for a stereo input jack? I'm not sure but I think It is probably calling for a 1/4 unbalanced input jack , keeps your signal mono. so if you are only getting the bridge pickup. You might check your position switch. and or your lead pick up. simply take the designated wire from the lead pick up and hook it up where your bridge position pick up is connected. (disconnect that first) if you get sound, then it just may be your switch. if you get nothing? check to make sure you have your ground correct and he lead wire correct. If these are active pick ups? you''ll need a battery source. if stil get nothing. your pick up may be bad.Thats a reads digest troubleshooting explanation. check your basics first. good luck

Tone knob and switch info

the switch, has three positions. Typically forward or up will be your neck (or rythm) pick ups, only and will work with one volume knob(usually top right as your looking at guitar), and one tone knob ( top left as your looking at the guitar). when the switch is in the far right or all the way down position, that will be the saddle (or lead) pick-ups. And that works with only one volume knob(bottom right as your looking at the guitar) and the corresponding tone knob. when the switch is in the middle position, botjh volume knobs work and both tone knobs work. You've gotta kinda play around with them to find whatever sound yopur looking for. and tone knobs are very subtle in their changes. good luck

Boss bv9557 will not power on

You may not have connected the hot lead of the player to the correct 12 volt accesory source. If you connected to the lighter plug, the ignition key needs to be turned to "run" for most of those to work these days.

If you tapped the wires for the door switch for couresy lights, you need to pick a different ground wire connection and power feed. the door switch is usually a grounding switch for the courtesy lights which have no ground until that switch closes contact with an opening. door. The power you could draw from that circuit is minimal because the courtesy lights are in series with that player - if connected in that manner.

Controls make staticy sounds when turned.

First remove the cord from your axe. Scatchy controls usually mean dirt and gunk on the contacts within the pots (potentiometers. I suggest going to your local Radio shack and picking up a can of tuner cleaner/lubricant. pop the access panel off (several screws ) Dont forget eye protection, and spray lightly into the small hole directly on the pot. Work to the stops both ways and replace your hardware.

Make sure that in the control panel of Windows, "Sounds and Devices" under the "voice and recording" tab, the Yamaha mixer is shown as the device for both voice recording and playback.

My power light is on but ther is no sound alteration from the talkbox i am using an alternet power supply could this have anything to do with this problum.

The pedal does NOT alter the sound... you probably don't understand how it works. Visit this YouTube site and observe:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkryZXYl0LU

Note that you have to have a microphone to pick up the sound. What the device does is to put your guitar sound into your mouth where you modify the resonance like when singing and then the modified sound is picked up by the microphone the hose is strapped to. I would suggest using a Shure SM57 micrcophone. Notes that your guitar sounds via the cable are NOT modified in any way, only amplified to put into the tiney speaker that drives the hose up to your mouth.

Replacement for an akai 10.5v 300ma adapter

The voltage won't be that critical... 10 to 11 will work. Just make sure the type (AC or DC) matches AND the polarity for the DC units.
Often these can be found at thrift stores.

Washburn guitar mg-20 pick up switch position 5 neck pick up no sound or noise humm or anything. all other positions and configurations work?

if everything is standard on that guitar then the only reason that pick up wouldnt work is because its a defective pick up or a wire is disconnected. it may also be possible that the selector switch is bad. take a small screw driver and tap the pick-ups in all positions while plugged in to the guitar amp and the volumes up ( not all the way) just loud enough that you can hear the tapping. you find the bad pick up when you cant hear the tapping with that pick up selected.
