Ipod Nano 3rd Generation volume problems

I am on my second ipod nano of the third generation. I brought my first one in under a warranty after it had the same problem. No matter what song i listen to the volume brings itself all the way to its max. This means i cant listen to it while running or during class. Is it shot??? i've got the EXACT same problem as Sebsub... i've had my new ipod (third generation nano) for 10 days and now whenever i turn it on, the volume goes upto maximum. i can turn it down fine however the moment i stop turning the wheel to the left it goes back up to maximum. i've tried locking the volume and resetting it. but neither worked... anyone know how to fix this?

ITunes contains a volume leveling program that works with every recording in your library or you can select each one individually by going to the library, selecting get info with the right mouse button, select options, and change the volume with the control you see on the screen and press ok.

Have you checked whether there is a volume limit on the nano. Go to settings then playback and then volume limit. From there you can adjust the maximum volume you can have. Hope this helps.

To sync games automatically to iPod nano, connect your iPod to your computer. Then...

1) In iTunes, select iPod nano in the source list and click the Games tab.
2) Select “Sync games.”
3) Click “All games” or “Selected games.” If you click “Selected games,” also select the
games you want to sync.

Apple Ipod Nano 3rd Gen Volume troubles

Seems like a manufacturers fault on your click wheel. The new nano's have their click wheels held in place with just a strong adhesive so this one might be slightly out of place.Take it straight back as faulty. Make sure inside your headphone socket isn't red else Apple will say it's water damaged.

Ipod nano 3rd generation and 1st generation nano

The first question I'm not sure. Is that the wireless network system that works with the wall outlets for power and networking?

The answer to the second question is No. You can only transfer playlists from ITunes into the IPod. Make sure your playlists are created in ITues before transferring.
