I dropped my projector accidentally a few weeks ago, but everything has been fine until today. The projector turns on and projects, but it doesn't display anything - not even the menu when I press the menu button. I just got a new lamp, and I'm not sure but the projector may not be projecting as bright an image as it was before. I can't tell, though, because it's just projecting black. This morning the projector worked fine, so I don't know what's up. Thanks for your advice!
My projector does not display anything except for orangish screen without menu or any kind of display. please help!

look at the diffuser lenses just after the lamp. there should be 2. the second one tends to have burn spots after a while in dusty and hot conditions. if the lens is ok, look at the lcds with the light on. do you see shadows on the panels? if so, you have a main board issue. if not, you have a misaligned mirror.
it is the power supply/ballast. when you first turn it on, the caps on the ps/bal charge then discharge when the lamp is to strike. if the caps are dried out (from excessive heat), it takes a while to build a charge. so the power drain from striking the lamp brings the ps/bal into shutdown. after you try again, the caps are now up to full power and everything is fine. but every time you unplug it, you'll have the same problem. replace the power supply and ballast.
reset the settings to factory default and swap out the cable you are using. if that doesn't work, you need to check the polarizers on the lcd panels. if they are burnt, you'll need to replace them. but since boxlight doesn't sell individial parts to the optical engine, you'll have to replace the whole engine.
