It seems like you have a broken ISO from the internet, I would suggest the following measures. 1. Redownload the ISO, it may be corrupted. Try to download it from another source. 2. This is more severe, but it might help in the long run: re-apply the update for your CFW, meaning, reformat your PSP, apply the update and the CFW again.
What is your firmware version? Are you using CFW or OFW?
There is a problem in your update that could have trigger some of your flash0 files it is where your firmware files are placed. Or maybe your firmware does not support Crisis Core : Final Fantasy 7?
If you are on CFW (Custom Firmware). Try loading the recovery menu in boot set-up. Just turn off your psp (not in sleep mode). Leave it for a second or two, then turn on your psp while holding the R trigger. If you are able to load the recovery menu, then you are semi-bricked. If not, only black screen then you are fully-bricked. You will not a PANDORA kit, with a pandora battery and magic memory stick to unbrick your psp.
sounds like a umd loading problem. this has happened to many psp owners in a variety of circumstances. go on the psp support section on playstation website and find information on this criteria. hopefully you can solve the problem with the steps given instead of having to do a warranty. ps my psp power cord stopped working...sucks for me, i cant get a warranty cuz i lost my receipt!
Okay well what you can do is actually make sure that the lens is actually moving. Because this happened to mine. When i tried playing my Crisis core game it was spinning and i could hear the noise and it said it was reading but the lens wasn't moving. This later on i found out happened due to the fact that my brother dropped my psp. What i did to fix it was actually hit the side of the psp to my hands a few times and apparently the lens was stuck and it came undone and its been working fine since then. But if you still have your warranty on it you might want to send it back, if not then you have nothing to lose. Hope this helps.
